I really like the hair dryer. It workds well and my hair seems to be smoother when dry. They box is pretty generic and doesn't say anything about Negative Ions, but it does have a blue light inside when turned on. I guess that's where the Ions are supposed to come from. Wish it had better ore more detailed instructions on the features, but I'm very satisfied with the dryer.
